Website design for one of New Zealand's great walks.
Who they are
Patuna Chasm is a limestone gorge near Martinborough in the Wairarapa, carved over roughly 1.3 million years and crossed on foot through a working farm. Bookings are essential and the walk is genuinely wet.
What we did
Pip Wilkinson needed a site that drove bookings rather than just describing the walk. Two things had to happen on the same page: convey how remarkable the chasm is, and set expectations honestly so nobody turns up in white sneakers.
We designed the site around the photography and put the booking path front and centre.
